Rejection to Humiliation

Long roads, tough roads, we were humiliated and suppressed. We remember the days of inequalities and tedious works. We remember the days of suppression and humiliation. We remember the days, where we work morning to night but gained no right. We remember the days. And we have done it, we walked past it. The power of women united, and it shall not be halted. We were able to gain rights for voting, we got more jobs when man went to war, we can be seen on propaganda everywhere praising our contributions. Yet when the man came back from war everything changed! Our jobs were taken, the man got higher salarys, our organizations diminished. They seek to suppress us and not let us speak for ourselves. They seek to gain their domination once again.

Do we wish to be humiliated and suppressed like we were in the past? No. A firm no. We will not allow of it. We should have equal rights to man. Including benefits like maternity leave, daycare, and counseling. These, we deserve, we live up to it, we contributed to it, and it’s time for us to cultivate our fruits. Let us not let gender be our boundaries, let us not let gender stimulate our society, let us not let gender limit our horizon, let us live in peace and harmony and most importantly, equality.
